The Olympic Village is one of the newest and most modern neighbourhoods in Vancouver filled with unique architecture, exciting restaurants, craft breweries, and modern art installations.  First developed for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, this former industrial complex has been recently transformed into the greenest community in the world! Join our 2.5-hour guided walking tour to hear the history of False Creek, sip and sample our way through local foodie stops, and take in the beautiful waterfront scenery that makes Vancouver one of the best cities in the world.

We start the tour at the Railtown Café, a modern restaurant serving up local and seasonal dishes. Here we sample a delicious salad. Don’t be dismayed, their salads have won awards! We then head to tiny but amazing Fife Bakery to sample various breads. Felix makes his addictive savoury bread using local ingredients like flour from Creston, eggs from Langley, and milk from Abbotsford. We then head to trendy Bao Down where we sample their take on a classic steamed pork bun. Our delicious Bao will be filled with either crispy pork belly & chicharrons or for our veggie friends some deep fried avocado. Next, we head to Craft Beer Market where we will try two local craft beers from award winning breweries and a gourmet fish taco. Located in a gorgeous heritage building and once home to the Vancouver Salt Co, Craft has over 144 beers on tap! We end the tour with some gelato from Mario’s Gelato, one of the oldest gelato makers in Canada.
